Albert O'Brien entered into heaven through God's grace and mercy on December 23, 2023.

Born on June 30, 1948 in Ronceverte, West Virginia to the late Kenneth and the late Helena Rice O'Brien.

In addition to his parents Albert was preceded in death by his brother, J.J. O'Brien; nephew, Seamus O'Brien; nieces, Christina Palermo and Deanna Mathew's; sister-in-law, Linda O'Brien; mother and father in law, Darrell and Joanne Fogus.

Albert attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In addition to his dedication to work he lived for his wife, children and grandchildren. He had a great wit and joked with all.

Albert is survived by his devoted and loving wife Stephanie; daughter, Michelle Ott (Trevor); son, Michael O'Brien (Megan); grandchildren, Jared and Ella Ott, Marin, Maranda and Mercer O'Brien; siblings, Teresa Palermo (Ralph); Peter "PJ" O'Brien (Josephine), Sean O'Brien, Maria Jones (Brian), Clarita Garden (John), Christine Travers (Dan), and Veronica O'Brien; four sister in laws, Sue Cadle, Lisa Jackson (Brad), Tina Owens (Chuck) and Jill Jackson; four brother in laws, Pete Fogus (Judy), Mike Fogus, Chris Fogus and John Fogus (Jill) and many Nieces and Nephews.

A visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday December 28, 2023 at McDow Funeral Home.

A luncheon will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the family and friends at Wayne Hills Baptist Church, 877 Ladd Rd. Waynesboro, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m.at Augusta Memorial Park Friday December 29, 2023 officiated by Pastor Billy Coffey.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

In lieu of Flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
