Obituary

Amy W. Kingsley, 58, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025.  She was born August 9, 1967 to the late Jack and Joan (Boulet) Ward of Waynesboro, Virginia.

Amy enjoyed a good time/party.  She loved snack foods and her Kansas City Chiefs.  She loved camping and a large campfire with friends all around it.  She enjoyed serving as a volunteer Fire/EMS person for over 20 years.  She proved to be a leader and a good officer for other people.

Amy worked for Fed Ex as a pack handler, Blue Ridge Lumber as a dry kiln operator, night security, and E.I. DuPont as spinner.  She enjoyed doing crafts, especially with pine cones.

Amy is survived by her husband of 37 years, John Kingsley; sister, Jill Stevens; Lyle and Mary Lou Kingsley of Brushton, New York; James and Edie Kingsley of Rhode Island, New York; Jeff and Christine Kingsley of Peoria, Arizona along with several cousins from New York; dear camping friends from Virginia; and those neighbors close to her heart.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Shenandoah Hospice for their exceptional care.

Memorial Contributions for her friends in Virginia can be made to the Shenandoah Valley SPCA 1001 Mt. Torrey Rd. Lyndhurst, Virginia 22952, Hospice of the Shenandoah P.O. Box 215 Fishersville, Virginia, 22939.
