Amy Beth McDaniel, 59 passed away peacefully Saturday February 14th, 2026 in Staunton, Virginia.

Amy was born April 28, 1966 to Russell and the late Barbara (Burasz) Consentino.

Her mom precedes her in death as well as a close friend Alice B Roadcap.

She graduated from Waynesboro High School and received her degree from Mary Baldwin, after which she worked jobs that involved her with the community and those with special needs leading up to her employment at the Valley Services Board from 1995 to 2011.

Amy loved family, being a mom and "Granny" and socializing with anyone and loved animals expecially horses and cats. She never missed and opportunity to say 'I Love You" even when she couldn't say much else before the illness progressed, she enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, going on hikes and visiting family in other states.

Amy is survived by her father Russell Consentino and significant other Mary DiDomenico of Newton, Pennsylvania; sister, Lisa Consentino of Waynesboro, Virginia; two brothers, Mark Consentino and wife Pam of Berwick, Pennsylvania and Matthew Consentino and wife Denise of Catawissa, Pennsylvania; son, Drew Bowman and significant other Christy Percosky of Waynesboro, Virginia;  two granddaughters, Lily Bowman and Charlie Carpenter.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday February 27, 2026 at McDow Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Ely Guzman.
