Barbara Anne Fitzgerald Stevens, 76, of Tyro, VA got her heavenly wings on Sunday, January 17, 2021.  Born March 16, 1944, she was the daughter of Austin Fitzgerald, Sr. and Florence Fitzgerald of Tyro.  She was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church in Tyro, VA.

She is survived by her #1 child and best friend (K9 Rocky) then her children Karen S. Farrish (Scott) of Piney River, VA, Danny W. Stevens (Susan) of Tyro, Susie Allen (Paul) of Tyro; Seven grandchildren Tonya (Shawn) of Shipman, Stephanie of Tyro; Regina (Dane) of Roseland; Jessica (Jeff) of Arrington; Clifford of Tyro; Jeff (Tabby) of Piney River; Derrick of Piney River; Fifteen Great Grandchildren Dylan, William, Kirsten, Thomas, Grace, Mason, Autumn, Nick, Taylor, Hayden, Bryson, Zander, Sarah, R. C. , and Joanie; One Great-Great Grandchild Conway; sisters-in-law Frances K. Fitzgerald, Mary Wood, Leitha Mae Wood; Best Friend Herbert Jordan and many loving nieces and nephews.

Barbara Anne was preceded in death by her husband William (Wicky) Stevens; her brothers and sisters- in- law Austin Fitzgerald, Jr. (Frances); Romey Fitzgerald (Charlotte); John Henry Fitzgerald; grandchild Tina Marie Allen.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at Jonesboro Baptist Cemetery in Roseland. Covid 19 restrictions of wearing masks and social distancing will be observed. McDow Funeral Home of Waynesboro is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Simpson, Clifford Stevens, Thomas Huffman, Derrick Simpson, William Baker, and Mason Baker.

Memorial Donations may be made to Roseland Rescue Squad or Piney River Vol. Fire Dept.
