Barbara Ellen Wiseman Vicars lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, March 19, 2026.  Born Sunday, January 20, 1957, she was the daughter of Buck and Sylvia Wiseman.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, George, Jessie, and Michael Wiseman.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charlie Vicars; her daughter, Janis Vicars; her brother, Paul Wiseman; and her special grandson, Ethan Vicars, who fought the past year alongside Barbara in her battle against cancer until the very end.  She is also survived by a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro, VA.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:00 am at Lyndhurst Faith and Fellowship Church Cemetery, Lyndhurst, VA.  Pastor Ely Guzman will be officiating.
