Blanche Florene Davis, 82, widow of Henry Hunter Davis, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Staunton, Virginia.

She was born March 6, 1939 to Ernest and Pearl (Harlow) Jones.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Jones and Ashby Jones, Sr.; nephew, Charles Anderson of North Carolina.

Surviving are two sons; James A. Floyd Jr. and wife Leta of Swoope, Virginia, Edward L. Floyd and wife Wanda of Waynesboro; one sister, Juanita Anderson of Waynesboro, Virginia; five grandchildren, Dallas Floyd of Richmond, Virginia, Donna Floyd of Waynesboro, Virginia, Justin Floyd of Austin Texas, Jennifer Fifer and husband Dwayne of Weyers Cave, Virginia and James A. Floyd, III of Richmond, Virginia: two brothers, Paul Jones of Waynesboro, Virginia and David Jones and wife Forrest of Waynesboro, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 19, 2021 at Augusta Memorial Park officiated by Dr. Paul LaPrevotte.  McDow Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
