Brenda Lee Henderson, age 80, of Waynesboro passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  Born December 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Gladys Zimmerman who were also of Waynesboro.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 61 years, H. Junior Henderson; daughter, Sharon Penny and her husband, William; daughter, Lesley Bosserman and her husband, Keith; grandchildren, Daniel Penny and his wife, Brittney, Jacob Penny and his wife, Katie, Dillon Campbell and his wife, Jessica, and Cameron Campbell; great grandchildren, Aidan, Riley, Liam, Dawson, and Calum; and sisters, Shirley Payne and her husband, Richard, Sue Mawyer and her husband, John, Angie King and her husband, Greg, as well as members of their families.

Brenda and Junior owned The Flower Centre in Waynesboro for 44 years.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Augusta Memorial Park.  Pastor Bruce Swartz will be officiating.
