Calvin John Liming, 67, of Stuarts Draft, VA, passed away on March 4, 2022 at his home, which was his ultimate wish.  His wife of 46 years, Kay, was by his side.  She had also served as his caregiver for the past 3 years.

Calvin was born in La Junta, CO, to John and Sylvia Liming on June 13, 1954.  He attended local schools, graduating from Rocky Ford High School in 1972.  He attended Otero Junior College in La Junta.

Calvin retired from NIBCO after serving 43 years.  He married Kay Groth Liming in 1976.  They lived in Rocky Ford, CO until 1986 when they moved to Stuarts Draft, VA to follow his work with NIBCO.

If you knew Calvin, you knew his love for computers. He received his BS from Blue Ridge Community College in Computer Science.  In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting with his sons.

Calvin leaves behind his dedicated wife, Kay; a son, Matt Liming of Stuarts Draft who was also a loving caregiver to his father; a son, First Sergeant Mitchell Liming and his wife Candice Caplette Liming; and 3 grandchildren, Trinity Liming, Cadyn Liming, and Cole Liming, all of Ft. Campbell, KY.  Calvin was very proud of his 2 sons.  He also leaves behind a brother, Milton Liming and a nephew, Jacob Liming, both of Rocky Ford, CO.  A special thank you to Malisa Lacy, Amedisys Hospice, and aide, Lorie Woolridge.
