Carol Ann Knemoller passed from this life to enter her eternal life on January 26,2121 at

Summit Square.

Carol was born in Jersey City ,New Jersey, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Avila Carregal on August 26, 1933.

On May 8, 1954 she married Robert Knemoller, who survives and were wed for 67 years.

Other survivors include a devoted daughter, Karen Knemoller and husband Jeff Long of Waynesboro and grandsons McGregor Long, Waynesboro and Christopher Knemoller, New Jersey.  Her brother Joseph Carregal of Florida also survives.

A son Robert Knemoller is deceased.

Prior to their move to Waynesboro in 2001,Carol worked for a number of years as church secretary at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Brick, New Jersey. Her faith was very important to Carol and she spent many hours as a faithful caretaker of the Altar Guild at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Hospitality could be another name for Carol. She enjoyed entertaining small groups of friends and family on special occasions and holidays. She never met a stranger. It was no fluke she joined "The New Comers Club". She wanted everybody to feel welcomed and comfortable..

Carol was the perfect wife for Bob and a great asset to him; a wonderful mother and grandmother who set good examples of faith, responsibility, and accountability for her family.

Carol was an  avid Quilter. One might say her creations were magnificent. Detail and perfection were most important to Carol. She passed that attribute on to her daughter as well.

Because of the Pandemic, there will be no service at this time. A Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
