Charles William aka “CW” aka “Buck” Chittum 33 passed away July 21, 2026 in Richmond.

Born January 20th, 1993 in Charlottesville Va. to the late Ashby Eugene Chittum and mother who survive Pamela Dawn Reade Chittum of Arrington, Va. His father preceded him in death also his “kid” Aries his dog.

CW was a very kind, loving, caring and very comical young man who loved his family and friends and his “kid” Aries his dog so-so much. He was in such pain and didn’t know any other way to get it go away so he ended his pain but never meant to hurt any of us.

Besides his mother, surviving family; brother, Jeffery Brooks of Waynesboro, Curtis Brown (April) of Waynesboro and Arrington; Ashley Chittum of Waynesboro; nieces, Jade Brooks, Khadiea Campbell; nephews, Rahkelt Brown and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, friend James Ward of Florida and Doug and Dustin Brooks of Stuarts Draft.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday August 1, 2026 at Faith Hope and Love Fellowship, 89 Arrow Lane, Stuarts Draft Va. The service will be officiated by Cousin Terri Campbell and Pastor Doug Brooks, Sr. A reception will follow at the church.

When I Must Leave You

When I must leave you for a little while
