Charlie was born on September 12, 1933 in Gordonsville, VA and went to be with his heavenly Father on December 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Mae West; his mother and father, Charles R. West and Lucille Turner West.

Charlie had two sons, Steven A. West and wife Marnie, Paul A. West and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Travis West and Leslie Anderson; great-grandchildren, Cadence West and Harper and Jonah Anderson; his best bud and "adopted" son, Robert Ward.

Charlie worked for Freed Company for 37 years, then Sears for 10 years.

He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and he was such a wonderful and kind person. He went to Central Point Church.

There will be a private graveside funeral for immediate family and close friends.
