Cleo (Terry) Twitchell, 89, a resident of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Blue Ridge Christian Home in Raphine, Virginia.

She was born August 17, 1936 in Waynesboro, Virginia, a daughter of the late Uylus and Ethel (Burner) Terry.

She was known as an amazing cook and seamstress; working for several area cleaners doing complicated alterations. She very much enjoyed life to the fullest, sharing it with good friends whom she loved dearly.

Surviving are her sons Mark Haynes of Dooms, VA and Jeffrey Haynes and his wife Vivian of Sarasota FL; two granddaughters and several great grandchildren. Her husband's daughters; Debbie Henderson and husband Ron of Lyndhurst, VA; Teresa Reese and husband Paul of Hercules CA; and Tina Twitchell of Waynesboro, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Twitchell of Waynesboro VA; daughter Carol Faye Haynes Davis and her husband Allen C. Davis.

A service will be held at a later date.
