Cynthia Sue McConkie, 64, a resident of Stuarts Draft, VA, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. She left to join her parents, Sidney and Ethel Waldron, and special friend Joy Christian.

She was born in Fredericksburg, VA on July 16, 1957.

Miss McConkie worked for 5 years as a Correctional Officer with Albemarle County. She was a member of Pamunkey Baptist Church in Orange, VA.

She loved spending time at the shooting range, ocean, outdoors, fishing, and working on computers.

Surviving are her daughter, Joy Morris; granddaughter, Kaylee Karicofe; sister, Charlotte Welch; nephew, Barry Welch; and great-nephew, Gabriel Welch.
