Daisy M. Hudson went home to be with the Jesus in the early morning hours of Wednesday July 22, 2020 at Summit Square Assisted Living in Waynesboro, Va.

Daisy was born in Gaffney, S.C. on Mother's Day May 11, 1930 to the late Charles and Nettie Anthony.

She met her first husband Tom McCurry at a square dance in August 1948 and they were married on March 5, 1949. They spent 36 ½ wonderful years together until his death in 1985.

On February 10, 1987 Daisy married her second husband George Hudson and moved to Mesquite TX. After his death in 2003 she moved to Virginia to be near old friends. She settled in Waynesboro, Va. She often said that it was the best place she ever lived. Daisy was a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church, loved being at her church and being a member of the "Fun Bunch".

She leaves to cherish her memory two Nephews, Duane Johnson (Mary Jane) of Greenwood, Va. and Mike Latsko (Sally) of Mesa AZ.; nieces, Chris Tedder of White Lake, N.C., Donna Robison (Don) of Norfolk, Va., Karen Hinkle (Barney) of St. Louis MO. She also leaves a lifelong friend Lou Johnson of Crozet, Va.

The family would like to thank her "Fun Bunch" friends for their love and support and for "Driving Ms. Daisy". The family would also like to thank the staff at Summit Square for their love and care that they shared with Daisy.

A graveside service will be held at St. John's Cemetery in Moncks Corner, S.C.
