Darren William Clark, 56, a resident of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at his home.

He was born March 22, 1966 in Waynesboro, a son of the late Homer and Shirley (Spears) Clark.

He was a 1984 graduate of Waynesboro High School. Darren was a supervisor for Old Dominion Freight Line for 17 years. He coached Pee Wee Football, Little League Baseball, and was a former Assistant J.V. Baseball coach at Waynesboro High School. He was a lifelong lover of music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Clark.

Surviving are his brothers, Randy Clark (Melinda), and Kevin Clark; 1 nephew,  Brandon Clark (Nyssa); 4 nieces, AnnMarie Ritchie (Jeremy), Briton Clark, Kelsey Mashinski (Steven), and Peyton Clark; and many other loving family members.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McDow Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2022 at McDow Funeral Home, officiated by his cousin, the Reverend Rhonda Estes Wheeler. Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brandon Clark, Steven Mashinski, Derek Estes, Andy Cummings, Derek Hall, Jay Thompson, Donald Wheeler, and Spencer Sykes.
