David W. Fisher departed from us on Monday December 13th 2021 in Crozet, VA where he resided for 11 years. He also called Afton, and Charlottesville home as well, but was originally from Fluvanna County, VA.

For those who knew David, they well knew he liked to stay moving. He was always spotted driving around in one of many vehicles he's owned in the past, looking very clean and rims shining. David was also known for his musical talents, including singing for friends and family, and also at church where his heart was filled with love from the brothers and sisters of the congregation. David had a very strong belief in God, and was always the one to brighten up the room with his very cheerful personality.

David leaves behind many people who loved and cared for him. His daughters, Krystal Gonzalez, Shanda Mayo, Tomika Clark , and Takiyah Fisher; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; a brother, John Murray; and close friend, Diane Simmons; and many mothers and  fathers, sisters and brothers and friends by heart, including the Durrette And Goines family of Afton, and Garnett family of Louisa.  He will be missed by all, but never forgotten.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
