David R. Hall passed away peacefully at home on February 4, 2022.  He was born October 22, 1933 in New York state to the late Edwin A. Hall, Jr. and Elizabeth Miller Hall.

David served 4 years as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force and spent his 30 year working career in sales.  He had a lifelong love of the outdoors, enjoying fishing, camping, hiking, nature, and firewood harvesting.  In retirement, he built a log home in the rural mountains of Pennsylvania prior to moving to Waynesboro in 2004.

David was dearly loved by Marilou, his wife of 66 years, daughter, Laurie, and son-in-law, George Leonard of Afton, VA.  David is also survived by siblings, Charles Hall, Marriet Bowser, George R. Hall, and Eric Hall; stepmother, Freida S. Hall; and many nieces and nephews.  A brother, Edwin Hall, III. and sister, Marlyce Dodd preceded him in death.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Riverview Cemetery, 420 Rosser Ave., Waynesboro, VA.  Rev. Dr. Glen Holman will be officiating.
