Donna Marie Lambert Loney, a cherished individual known for a kind, loving, caring and generous heart, left us on October 23, 2024. Donna was born on April 2, 1945 in Waynesboro, VA.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Howard (Tip) Lambert and Margorie (Spradlin) Lambert. She is survived by her loving husband Ron Loney, stepchildren Owen Loney of Richmond and Autumn Loney of Lexington, along with her cousins and dear friends. Her departure will leave fond memories of all the love she shared.

Donna graduated from Wilson Memorial High School and Brant's School of Business in Staunton, VA. She worked in banking and real estate until she retired to open an animal refuge at her farm on Lambert Lane. She cared for and loved dearly the many animals taken in over the years, including horses, donkeys, cows, rabbits, cats, and pigs. Donna had a kindness to all animals, domestic and wild, and they brought her so much joy.

Donna was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church.

A private graveside service will be held for close friends and family on Oct. 30 at Riverside Cemetery in Waynesboro. Donations would be appreciated for animal care at 153 Lambert Lane, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
