Doris Laverne Roberts went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 13, 2024.

She was born on March 17, 1938, in Albemarle County, to the late Eslie and the late Sallie Phillips Baber.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Richard Allen Roberts, on November 26, 2008, her son, Jeffrey Scott Roberts, and her brother, William Edward Baber.

She is survived by her devoted son Richard Allen Roberts, Jr., and his wife Debbie, brother, James H. Baber (Ida) and sister-in-law, Patricia Roberts. Doris is also survived by many dear friends and her example of living each day by faith has been inspirational.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 16 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Afton, VA with Pastors John Muncy and Ron Nickell officiating. Casual attire is suggested.
