Eddie Nicholas "Nickie" Marion, 86, of Fishersville, passed away on December 15, 2024.  Born November 16, 1938, he was the son of Wallace and Frances Marion.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille I. Marion; Eddie Dean and Eddie Dean, Jr.

Nickie is survived by his companion of eleven years, Jennifer Grimm; son, Tony Ray Marion; daughter, Janisa Ennis; brother, Dallas Marion and  his wife, Sandi; grandchildren, Tamika and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Bryce, Jaylen, and Tony; nephews, Ashley Dean Marion and Aaron Tucker Coffey; niece, Jennifer Wood; and great-nephew, Logan Marion.

Nickie was a Mason for sixty-one years.  He enjoyed long drives, sitting on the back porch, and visiting with his buddies at Hardees, especially with his best friend, Gene Kline. Nickie was an avid Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed all wildlife.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday December 19, 2024 at McDow Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home.  A Masonic service will be at Augusta Memorial Park.

Memorials can be made to the Masonic Children's Hospital.
