Elick "Richard" Marshall, 96, of Regency at Augusta Senior Living, Fishersville, Virginia, passed away October 9, 2025.

He was born April 12, 1929 in Augusta County, Virginia, a son of the late Melvin M. Marshall and Mae Sampson Marshall.

He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.

He retired from E.I. DuPont with 40 years of service in 1987.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Alberta Forbus Marshall; a son, Randolph "Randy" Wiseman; grandson, Michael R. Wiseman; a sister, Vera M. Bowman; brothers, Franklin R. Marshall, Allen E. Marshall, and Boyd H. Marshall.

Survivors include sisters, Ruby McAllister, Roxie M. Wine (Daniel); daughter, Linda C. Parr; son, Richard W. Marshall (Donna); daughter-in-law, Patty Wiseman; granddaughters, Kimberly D. Dettweiler, Pamela Sue Small (Corey), Megan Ansted (AJ); brother-in-law, Richard Harold Forbus (Hazel); sister-in-law, Barbara Bragg; six great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Roger Shifflett and Jerry Leitch.

A graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro, Virginia on Tuesday October 14th at 11:00 am by Rev. Daniel Wine.

Active pallbearers will be Stephen "Jimmy" Crawford, Adam Bowman, Willie Bowman, Corey Small, Michael Small and Jarrett Small.

There will be no formal visitation.
