Elizabeth Mae Jackson, 78, of Waynesboro, VA passed away on Monday morning, October 30, 2023.  She was big on family, always willing to help anybody out, and the most kind-hearted woman you'd ever meet.  She was greeted in heaven by her beloved husband, Jesse James Jackson, III., her parents, Marie Louise Morton and Samuel Douglas Morton.  Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Benjamin Coles, Jane Steppe, and Marie Morton; her children, Joyce Jackson of Waynesboro, Doug Jackson (Angela Jackson) of Georgia, and Jeslyn Jackson of Waynesboro; her six (6) grandkids, Travis Jackson, Shayla Womble (Carlyle Womble), Austin Jackson, Dallas Jackson, Kierston Jackson, and Tyler Jackson; her great-grandchild, Ashtyn Jackson; her great niece with whom she shared a special bond, Paris Horne; and numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the chapel at McDow Funeral Home.
