Elizabeth Byrd Palmer, wife of Lyle W. Palmer passed away Wednesday August 9, 2023 in Fishersville, Virginia, with her family by her side.

Born in Staunton, Virginia April 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Wallace McClung and Aline Painter Byrd. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marika Byrd and a brother, Elwood Byrd.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Lowell Palmer and Leslie Palmer and his wife, Crystal  of Waynesboro, Virginia; daughter, LaDonna Manson and her husband, Neil of Ontario, Canada; three sisters, Doris Huffman, Faye Hall, Irene Booze; and her nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was a member of First Baptist Church and was an ambassador at the Wayne Theater.

A private family graveside service was conducted at Augusta Memorial Park officiated by Bill Cole.
