On January 13 ^th 2022, Eric Joseph Lisle died unexpectedly at his residence in Afton, Virginia of natural causes.  He was 49 years old.

Eric is survived by his parents Frank and Carolyn (Faye) Lisle of Fairfax, Virginia; his brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Tatiana Lisle; and his niece and nephew, Angelica and Thomas Lisle of Springfield, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin, Sr. and Katherine Lisle of Nashville, Tennessee, and Carter and Ada McClain of Afton, Virginia.

Eric was born on September 29 ^th 1972 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He graduated from James W. Robinson, Jr. Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia in 1992 and went on to attend Stratford College where they graduated in 2000 with a degree in Computer Information Systems.

Eric was a skilled and talented metal worker and mechanic, and loved nothing more than the time he spent tinkering in his shop. He was a survivor of the September 11 ^th 2001 attack on The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a graveside memorial service for Eric is scheduled for April 2 ^nd 2022 at 11:00 am in Rodes United Methodist Church Cemetery at 286 Avon Road, Afton, Virginia. It will be immediately followed by a reception (Covid restrictions permitting) in the Rodes fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Rodes UMC Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
