Evelyn P. Harris went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2025.

She was born on April 27, 1945 in Waynesboro, Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her husband Junior Harris and son Jeff. Also preceding her are her parents, William and Mary Parr, sisters Shirley Truslow and Peggy Morris.

She is survived by her children Chuck Harris (Lori) and Paula Sprouse (Robert), six grandchildren, Jennifer, Dana, CJ, Ryan, Matthew and Kayla and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Effie Berry and brothers-in-law Bobby and George Harris.

May her memory be cherished by her loved ones, and may they find comfort in the happy times they shared with her.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at McDow Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 11, 2025 in Riverview Cemetery.
