Everett L. Gray passed away peacefully to his Eternal Home January 28, 2021 and was reunited with his loving wife of of 55 years, Doris C. Gray.

He was born March 20, 1940 in Nelson County, VA and was preceded in death by his parents William E. Gray and Rosa Lee Gray Johnson.

Everett leaves behind his loving family, one sister Dorothy Boone and husband Jerry of Jacksonville, FL.  A son Timothy L. Gray and wife Susan and a daughter Shannon D. Gray. 5 grandsons, Colton Brown and fiancé Jessica Shaver, Noah Brown and girlfriend Bridget Carter, Seth Gray, Levi Viar, Daniel Viar and great-granddaughter Everleigh Carter.

Everett devoted his life to his family, they were always his priority.  He worked until he was able to retire and after retirement continued to always stay busy. He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing grass for his neighbors, spending time with family, and going to visit friends. He spent much of his time caring for his wife Doris at home through her illness and never left her side until her recent passing. He was a Member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church.

There will be a graveside service Wednesday February 3, 2021  at 10 a.m. performed by Rev. H. Wray Sherman, III,  at Hermitage Presbyterian Church located at 46 Hildebrand Church Road, Waynesboro VA 22980.
