Gary Weems Armentrout passed away Wednesday May 6th, 2026 at Sunnyside Health Care in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Born to the late Grady and the late Virginia Showers Armentrout on November 1, 1934, he is also predeceased by two brothers; Grady Jr. Armentrout and Brent Armentrout;  sister, Junita "Nita" Walker Armentrout.

Gary served in the United States Army.

Gary is survived by his wife Treva  Armentrout; son, Richy Armentrout (Cory); daughter, Terry Armentrout (Randy); nine grandchildren, Tylan, Troupe, Victoria, Heather, Chelsea, Jacque, Carter, Kohl and Clara.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. May 12, 2026 at Mt. Olive Brethren Church officiated by Fred Miller.

A Graveside burial will be held 1:00 p.m. May 12, 2026 at Riverview Cemetery officiated by Fred Miller with Military Honors by the US Army.

Active pallbearers will be Tylan Armentrout (Honorary), Troupe Armentrout, Victoria Armentrout, Carter Atkins, Kohl Atkins and Clara Atkins.
