Gene Earl Grove

July 6 1937 - August 17 2025

Son of the late Timothy Earl and Geneva Rowe Grove. Husband of the late Lucy Kate Grove of 59 years.

Retired in 1999 from GE Genicom with over 20 years service. Many years in the kitchen at Springdale Mennonite Church and on the grill at Augusta Expo where he received a volunteer of the year award. He was involved with The Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale from the beginning with the family inheriting the Brunswick Stew.  He had over 25 years with Wilson Volunteer Fire Company auxiliary.

Survivors include sons, Ronnie wife Tammy, Tim wife Carmen, grandchildren Joshua, Jeremiah, Jessica and Kaylie. Brothers Kenneth and Billy wife Sharon, sisters Carol husband Dee Wheeler and Sharon husband Lewis Sweet. Sister in laws Jane Schronce and Myrtle Beard.

There will be a family graveside service with burial at Springdale Mennonite Church.
