Harry Wilson Mitchell, 84 of Stuarts Draft passed away Friday April 14, 2023 at home.

He was born on July 27, 1938 to the late Woodrow Wilson and Kathleen Davis Mitchell.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Henry Mitchell (Martha).

His surviving family includes his wife of 64 years Betty Cave Mitchell; daughter, Marsha Mitchell Wampler (Neal), son Jeffrey Mitchell; three granddaughters, Afton Schneider (Matt Taylor), Austin Wampler and Caitlin Mitchell; one brother David Mitchell (Joyce).

Harry enjoyed working daily in the family-owned and operated antique business he started 35 years ago with his wife and daughter. A true entrepreneur, Harry also opened a hair salon and clothing boutique with his wife whom he adored prior to the antique business. There was never a project too big or small – he was a fixture at the antique mall, chatting and joking with dealers and customers, renovating furniture in his shop in the back, and enjoying the excitement of winning a bid at an auction.
