Herbert Danny " Nomad "  Jordan, 76, a resident of Tyro, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 14, 1947 in Nelson County, Virginia, a son of the late John Sewyn Jordan and Mazie Bell (Bradley) Jordan.

He worked in construction, and logged most of his life. " Nomad " held bear hunting, and his hunting family, close to his heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Sherwood, Ryland, Sylvia, Charles, Jerry, Sandra, and Nora.

Surviving are his sisters, Brenda J. Carr, Sara J. Jacobs, Barbara J. Baker and husband Ernie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Jonesboro Baptist Church Cemetery in Roseland, Virginia.
