Herbert B. Stinespring ("Red"), 92, of Waynesboro, VA passed away on July 1, 2023 at his home.

He was born on February 5, 1931 to the late Forest and Dora Stinespring.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Malinda (June) Stinespring; daughters, Gina Robertson and husband Jesse, Kimberly Reynolds and husband Keith, Vicki Weatherholtz, and Becky Moore; sons, Danny, Ricky and Tony Stinespring; grandchildren, Lindsay and Dylan Stevens, Derek Rankin and Jimmy and Nicole Beauchamp; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Satterwhite, Jackie Comer, Juanita Campbell; and brother, Lertie Stinespring; and many other relatives and close friends.

He was retired from Wayn-Tex with 35 years of service. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt fan, loved music, crafting with wood, old cars, gardening/flowers, and gathering with family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023 at McDow Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 7, 2023 in Riverview Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Ely Guzman.

Pallbearers will be his sons-in-law, Jesse Robertson and Keith Reynolds; grandsons, Derek Rankin and Dylan Stevens; great-grandson, Malik Addison and friend Derek Griffith.
