Hildreth Doyle Fry, 97, passed away Friday July 28, 2023 in Fishersville, Virginia.

She is predeceased by her husband Russell Fry; parents, Jack and Julia Bishop Doyle; three brothers, Hali Doyle, Kenneth Doyle and Burl Doyle; three sisters, Vivian Stuczyaski, Catherine Aunspau and Mrlin Monger.

"Hildie" was a member of Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church. She was part of a Christian ministry that traveled around Virginia and adjacent states presenting 1 Act Christian Dramas and retired from E. I. DuPont after 15 years of service.

Surviving family are son, Gary Wayne Fry and his wife Leslie; Grandson, Preston Lee Fry and his wife Kim and their daughter Allison.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at McDow Funeral Home.

A funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at McDow Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Janet Knott with internment at Augusta Memorial Park.
