Ida Catherine Morris, age 95, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her residence.  Born August 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John L. Fisher and Grace Bailey Fisher.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey W. Morris; son, Alan Morris; brothers, Vance Fisher and Robert Fisher; sister, Marie Marshall; and daughter-in-law, Pam Morris.

Ida is survived by her sons, Barry Morris, Kevin Morris (Mary), and Craig Morris (Lisa); grandchildren, Devon Thompson, Austin Shiflett, Bryan Morris (Christy), Chipper Morris, Christopher Morris, Gary Morris, Guy Morris (Shannon), and Rebekah Rose (Kyle); 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Violet Marshall; and a number of nieces and nephews.  The family wishes to extend special appreciation to a beloved niece, Mozelle Shade.

Ida retired from GE.  She enjoyed making quilts, gardening, and canning.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, 2 Tanbark Dr., Afton, VA.  Pastor Billy Coffey will be officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at McDow Funeral Home.
