Jeffrey Layne Fretwell, 64, passed away Friday August 28, 2020 at home doing the work he loved.

He attended Growing Together Fellowship Church. Jeffrey loved his family and enjoyed being with them, riding his Harley Davidson, working on vehicles and gardening, hunting, his dogs and grilling. Jeff was always willing to help anyone no matter the circumstances.  Avid Trump 2020 supporter.

He was born on April 6, 1956 to Harold and Louise Payton Fretwell.  In addition to his parents he is predeceased by brother, James Fretwell (Bunk).

Surviving him are his wife of 46 years Blandean; sons, Christopher Layne Fretwell (Brandi), Jason Edward Fretwell (Amanda); grandchildren, Taylor, Jasmine, Dylan, Jathan, Dakoda, Megan and Chase; brother, Johnny P. Fretwell; sister, Connie Fretwell Wood (Lee); Mother in law, Helen Price, Father in law, Roy Price of OK; sister in law, Stacey Wheeler;  nieces and nephews, Terry, Sherry, Tracy, Jonette, Suzie, Johnny, Kattie, David Jr., Nicole, Jonathan Jr., Joshua, Myami, Makaylyn, Kenzley.

A family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday August 31, 2020 at McDow Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Augusta Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Ronnie Harris and Pastor Kevin Harris.

Active pall bearers will be Butch Losh, Ed Marvec, Chris Marshall, Allen Robertson, Jamie Gibson and Kevin Siron. Honorary pall bearers will be Bucky Robertson, John Hailey, John Price, David Price, Chase Fretwell, Ceasar Wheeler and Josh Wheeler.
