Jeremy Taylor of Waynesboro passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at home.  He was born on August 9, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Joel and Nancy Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marshall Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen; his daughter, Caitlin (Santiago) Martinez of Rockville, Maryland; his son, Andrew Taylor, of Waynesboro; his son, Brendan (Kaitlin) Taylor, of St. George, Utah; his daughter, Martha Taylor, of Richmond, Virginia; his son, Graham (Laura) Taylor, of Boise, Idaho; his grandsons, Sebastian Martinez, Calvin Taylor, and Cooper Taylor; and his sisters, Cecily Beben and Alyssa Taylor.

Mr. Taylor received his undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary in 1983, and his Juris Doctorate from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at William & Mary in 1986.  He worked for many years at the National Legal Research Group in Charlottesville.  He served on the Waynesboro School Board.  He was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Waynesboro.
