John Jay Hise, 68 of Waynesboro passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Waynesboro Va. September 7, 1954 to the late John Arlie and Mary (Grogg) Hise.

Jay served in the U.S. Army stationed at Camp Page, Korea in the 70's and retired from Wayn-Tex. Jay loved motorcycles, his beloved pets and family.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 43 years, Jane (Dobson) Hise; two sisters, Shirley Brooks and Brenda Ott; one brother, Tommy Hise.

Surviving family include daughter, Michelle (Hise) Blackwell (Joseph Matthew) at home; twin brother, Arlie Ray Hise (Carolyn) of Waynesboro; two step daughters, Rebecca Hise of West Virginia, Denise Hise of Texas; two aunts, Rose Hamilton and Katherine Sledge; one uncle, David J. Grogg.
