John Steele Kelley, son of William Roy and Lillian Elizabeth Kelley, departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2019, at the age of 96, in Fredericksburg, VA.

John was born April 16, 1923 in Logan, WV. He owned and operated a successful Welding Company and two Restaurants. One of which was located in Grottoes, VA.

John's energetic spirit allowed him to enjoy hunting, fishing, boating, flying and travel around the world.

John was a proud World War ll Veteran and relished in serving his country. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

John was preceded in death by his son his loving son, John Steele Kelley, Jr.

He is survived by his loving daughter Lillian Epstein and her husband, Jan Epstein of Fredericksburg, VA his loving granddaughter, Kelley Drake and her husband, Corey Drake,

his grandson, Justin Steven Epstein, and his dear great grandchildren, Lauryn, Kaitlyn, Trevor of Fredericksburg, VA, and  great grandson Steele Epstein, of Chandler, AZ.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm located at Mount Bethel United Methodist Church, 148 Rock Mountain Lane, Crimora, VA 24431. Service will be officiated by Rev. Cameron Carte and arrangements by McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to a charity close to your heart.
