"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of JoLynn Johnson who went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2026.

JoLynn was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on February 3, 1964 to Kenneth and Joanne Richards.

JoLynn was an avid lover of traveling the open road, especially when the destination was one of her favorite places—Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, or any bright and sunny beach. She was a devoted fan of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles and no matter what kind of season the team was having; she proudly rooted on the Birds with true Pennsylvania pride. She also had a deep love for the paranormal and frequently watched paranormal programming, following along with the paranormal adventures her son, Brandon, would embark on.

JoLynn was a warm and loving soul who had no problem striking up a conversation with a complete stranger and often walked away with a new friend. She loved her family deeply and would do whatever it took to make sure everyone around her had a smile on their face.
She will be greatly missed, but rest assured, she will forever be a guardian angel to all who knew and loved her.

JoLynn is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jerry Johnson Jr.; her father, Kenneth Richards; her son, Brandon Johnson, and daughter-in-law, Taylor Johnson; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Johnson; her brother-in-law, James Johnson, and fiancée, Teresa Harris; and her grandson, Brayden Johnson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved fur babies.
