June (Blackwell) Shifflett, 69, a resident of Crimora, VA, passed away Thursday January 28, 2021 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

A daughter of the late Schuyler Lee Blackwell and Dianna (Coleman) Blackwell, she was born August 10, 1951 in Waynesboro, VA.

She worked at Village Market since her retirement from Mohawk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Argie Gerald Shifflett; daughter, Alice Dianna Blackwell; and 2 brothers, Harvey and Albert Blackwell.

She is survived by 2 sons, Eric Lee Blackwell and Adam N. Blackwell; daughter, Brittany N. Blackwell; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Priscilla Kirksey and Lettie Stickley.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 2 ^nd at McDow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 3 ^rd in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Grottoes. Pallbearers will be Matthew Stickley, Kullen Wade, Jeff Wimer, Harold Wimer, Tracy Claytor, and Michael Agnor.
