Kathleen Virginia Francis, 90, a resident of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Thursday morning, May 20, 2021 at Shenandoah House, Fishersville.

She was born October 8, 1930 in Greenville, VA, a daughter of the late Marvin Burch Sheets and Ethel Marie (Connor) Sheets.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Patricia G. Francis and Yvonne Brooks.

Surviving are her son, Terry L. Francis and his wife June of Waynesboro; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Francis, Carla Rankin, James Hartless, and Patrick Brooks; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Thomas Sheets, James Sheets, and Raymond Sheets –all of Louisiana; 2 sisters, Betty Ralston of Stuarts Draft and Diane Meredith of Louisiana; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 25, 2021 in the Greenville United Methodist Church Cemetery, officiated by Amanda Francis.
