Kelley Lynn Messer earned her place in heaven on July 28, 2023. She passed away peacefully at her home in Afton, VA surrounded by her family. She was born in Norfolk, VA on October 4, 1965.

Kelley is survived by her soul mate, best friend and loving husband Scott, her two sons who she lovingly referred to as her heart and soul, Arron and Jacob. She is also survived by her mother Kay O'Carroll, very special cousins, Rick Harris (Becky), Michael Harris (Cathy), and Brian Harris (Michelina).

She was preceded in death by her father, James O'Carroll and her sister, Robin Rose and step-sister, Tracy.

Kelley would especially like to thank Hospice of the Piedmont for the excellent care and kindness provided by her Care Team.

The family will hold a private ceremony at a future date. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and have come to love her.
