Kristen chose to serve God at a young age and was later called to serve in the ministry. She began in the ministry in July 2017 and labored in Virginia and Pennsylvania. After a diagnosis of Glioblastoma (brain cancer) in 2019, she chose to have treatments at UVA. Above all, she had a love for God, which inspired a deep love for people and their souls.
Kristen enjoyed the outdoors, children, music, games, and a good laugh. She was able to keep her sense of humor to the end.
The thoughts, care and acts of kindness toward Kristen and her family, especially during these last years, are too many to count. Kristen's family and coworkers want to thank every person who has cared about her, with deep appreciation from the bottom of their hearts.
