Lily Tyree Painter, 96, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022.  Born August 14, 1925 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lee Harrison Tyree and Mary Susan Tyree.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Painter, Sr.

Lily is survived by her daughter, Carolyn J. Riley; son, John Calvin Painter, Jr. and his wife, Rebecca; grandchildren, Lee Riley, Samantha Riley, Maranda Painter, Calvin Painter, and Thomas Painter; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Hannah Riley, Amelia Rankin, and Sadie Painter.

Services will be determined at a later date.
