Linda I. Morris, 73, of Afton, VA departed this life peacefully at home on January 1, 2026.

Until retirement, she was partners in C&M Stone Masonry of Afton. Linda enjoyed working outside in her many flower gardens and taking care of her stray cats that would come and visit. She loved when the hummingbirds would return in the spring and she would feed the cardinals and snow birds in winter. She also loved the migration of her monarch butterflies.

Linda leaves behind her daughter Joy Coleman; grandchildren Elizabeth Dameron and Nicholas Coleman; and husband Chip Morris; also many close & special friends.

There will be no service at this time. Instead of flowers or donations, the family asks that you plant a flower, shrub, or bush in her remembrance.
