Linda Ann Welch Critzer, 73, the beloved matriarch of the Critzer clan, passed away on April 10, 2025. Born on October 18, 1951, in Waynesboro, Linda was the President of Linco, which she ran with her family for over 30 years.

Linda's personality was one that drew many to her. She was wise, kindhearted, beautiful, strong, and loving. She developed friendships easily, and when she smiled, everything seemed brighter. Her laughter was infectious, and when she looked at her husband, her eyes would light up. Linda would also show her strength when needed. There is a saying about her: "her feet may be small, but when she puts her feet down, you feel it."

Linda enjoyed traveling, especially to beaches, and was an avid reader. You could also find her at the casino playing slots or at the "Let It Ride" card table. She had a passion for animals, having many pets throughout her life.

As a mother of two and grandmother of four, Linda was the heart of the Critzer family. Her kitchen was the gathering place for holiday celebrations and impromptu family meetings. Linda had a knack for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and important date in her children's and grandchildren's lives, never failing to send a card or make a call. Her homemade Pink Fluff and chicken casserole were legendary, and she delighted in teaching the recipe to each new generation.

Linda is survived by her husband Jim, their children Amanda, Adam, and Amanda's husband Rooster, her grandchildren Dylan, C.J., Trenton, and Lynzie, her sister Cindy Hutchinson and Cindy's husband David, her brother Chris Welch, and her sister-in-law Dorthy Mae C Ponds.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro. We look forward to seeing you then to give Linda the sendoff she deserves.
