Lola "Bea" Hensley went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, October 17, 2025.

She was born on March 6, 1944, in Belcher, KY, to Ralph Mullins and Alice (Owens) Mullins, who preceded her in death as well as her husband of 54 years Branch; three brothers, Randall Mullins, Jesse Mullins, Albin Mullins; three sisters, Faye Smith, Anna Rae Conley, Wanda Kennedy.

Bea is survived by her son, Randy Hensley of Waynesboro, Virginia, son, Clinton Hensley and wife, Danette, and a grandson, Dylan, of Charlottesville, Virginia. She is also survived by her brother, Kenny Mullins and wife, Violet from Belcher, KY. Sister-in-law and husband, Carolyn and Jerry Lilly from Fishersville, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Bea was also an active member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Bea enjoyed cooking, baking, watching ME TV, and checking up on her friends and family.

Bea, affectionately known to many as Aunt Bea, will be remembered as being the neighborhood mom.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, October 27, 2025, from 5 until 7 p.m. at McDow Funeral Home, 1701 W. Main Street, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

A service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, 12 p.m. at Wayne Hills Baptist Church, 877 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980, conducted by Pastor Jamie McClanahan, and Dennis Westover. A graveside service will follow at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980. It is kindly asked that those attending her services please dress casually.

Active pallbeaers will be Barry Bryant, Bailey Bryant, Corey Marshall, Christian Moreno, Ryan Nichols and Randy Hensley.
