Lonnie C. Woodson, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  Born June 26, 1964, he was the son of Herbert Woodson and Caroline Goolsby Woodson.  Lonnie is survived by his wife, Bernadine Woodson of Afton, and son, Kevin Woodson.

Lonnie graduated from Nelson County High School in 1992.  He spent most of his life working on his farm.  He loved spending quality time on his farm taking in the beauty and solitude of the surroundings.  He loved watching a good movie and spending time with his four dogs.  Lonnie will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Piney Mountain Bible Chapel, 4034 Beech Grove Road, Roseland, VA  22967. Rob Mansfield will be officiating.
