The Son Never sets on a Legend

Louis "Eddie" E. Daugherty Jr., 75 of Waynesboro, Virginia. Passed away 11 Mar 22.

Eddie was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on 21 Jan 47, The son of Louis E. Daugherty Sr. and Cinderalla McManamay Daugherty.

Eddie was a lifetime member of The Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.  He was involved in every aspect of the church from being a board member, to running the audio equipment to taking care of the grounds.

Not only did Eddie love his service to the Church but he loved his cars his 66 Chevelle was his favorite toy to tinker with.  Eddie enjoyed service to others and will be sorely missed by those he served.  Eddie was a fair and just father who raised 2 Children and made them what they are today, strong and self sufficient.

His wisecracking ways will surely be missed by those who knew him best.

Eddie is survived by his Sisters Beatrice "Bea" Conner and her Husband Steve, Alice Webb and her Husband Mahlon, his Son Joseph "Jody" Daugherty and his wife Charlene and his Daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Daugherty. He is also survived by many nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held 1 PM Wednesday, 16th of March 2022 at McDow Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service at Augusta Memorial Park.
