Louis Neil Simmons, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 28, 2024.

Born on January 12, 1961 in Elkins, West Virginia to the late David N. and the late Sharon Pritt Simmons.

Louis was a master plumber by trade and had worked for Bo Ramsey and R.S. Boyers, he loved fishing, camping and especially UVA Football.

Survivors include son, Dustin Simmons; daughter, Deana Williams and husband Carey; granddaughter, Claire Williams; two sisters, Lisa Simmons and Leslie Fry and husband Gary; nephews David and Jacob Meadows; great nephew Rowan Meadows and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Post Acute Care and Birch Ridge and their staffs for the wonderful care.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday October 11, 2024 at McDow Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 12, 2024 at McDow Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Doug Proctor.
