Lt. Ronald C. Weekley, WPD retired, passed away at home on trayfoot Road, Grottoes, Virginia on 10/13/23.

Ron was born to Ben and Selma Weakley on 10/12/46.

After graduation from Montevideo High School in 1965, Ron enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  After completion of his 4 year tour of duty and his honorable discharge, he returned home and married Linda Mundy.  Ron and Linda made their home in Waynesboro and welcomed a beautiful baby girl Wendy in 1975.  After becoming a nurse, Wendy honored them with two beautiful granddaughters-Chandler and Jaimie, and a much treasured son-n-law Terry Curry.  Throughout his life Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman and working with his hands on a wide variety of special projects.

Ron's loving presence will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.

After cremation, his ashes will be interred at Augusta Memorial Gardens Wednesday 10/25/23 at 1100, with honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force. Tommy McComas will officiate the graveside service.
